To be quite honest, the DeLonghi D895UX Cool-Touch ROTO Electric Food Fryer has a lot of things going for it. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, has several great features, easy to clean up, and the cooking process is as you would hope it would be.

It really does seem to cook evenly, something I was slightly concerned about originally when viewing the design. The deep fryer seems to be well built, there literally very few complaints about this deep fryer.

The only downside to the DeLonghi D895UX Cool-Touch ROTO Electric Food Fryer that I could list is really nothing to do with the product itself, but more to do with the company. DeLonghi is notorious for poor support of their products. If something does happen to go wrong, or if you need to purchase additional filters, it is not often an easy task.

The biggest and most unique aspect of the DeLonghi D28313UXBK Roto Deep Fryer is the design and focus of keeping smells down. Most deep fryers these days have some filters, but not all do. The vast majority that do still have issues with keeping the frying odors down.

This one really is one that works well at keep the smell at a minimum. A good portion of this could be related to not having to open the lid to view the frying progress. So unlike many other designs where you do not have a lid or if you do, you have to raise it in order to view the frying progress, this one seems to really take care of safety and odor issues.

The downfall is that when viewing information about the filters used for the DeLonghi D28313UXBK Roto Deep Fryer is they are quite expensive. It is recommended that after a few uses you change the filter, but each filter runs around $15.00. If you feel like you need to replace the filter often, which is recommended by the manufacturer, you will have to spend a little bit of money if you want to stock a few of them. Another issue is that these filters are not always easily found. When I checked, DeLonghi was out of stock.
